GP Linkfarm 2: Backgrounders

October 27, 2007

Here are a bunch of sites for some topics you might be interested in reading up on just before the GP paper if you really have no idea what’s going on in the world today. These are all pretty readable and more or less comprehensive – without a trace of Wikipedia, at that.

As usual, suggestions for more topics and sites are more than welcome in the comments.

thanks for including a couple of OneWorld’s Topic Guides in your suggested links.

for the Terrorism Guide, you have duplicated the Yale link which follows – it should be http://uk.oneworld.net/guides/terrorism

and for China, you might consider our Country Guide which focuses more on social issues than the BBC profile http://uk.oneworld.net/guides/china/development

    many thanks

The useful resources you have provided is very comprehensive., especially so for the geography. It would be wonderful if you could continue to post more of such notes. Greatly appreciated.
